Open the door! People in New York gathered at the door of bars to protest against the pandemic prevention policy.
On November 30, local time, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo announced at a briefing that with the surge in confirmed cases and hospitalizations, some orange areas should suspend indoor dining in restaurants, bars and other places.
At a bar in the orange area of Staten Island, the owner displayed the slogan “autonomous zone” at the door and refused to close the bar.
On December 1st, local time, the bar owner was arrested for being warned many times by the police not to close the bar.
On the 2nd, a large number of people gathered at the door of the bar to oppose the epidemic prevention policy and demand that the bar be reopened.
