February 21st Comprehensive African Independent Television and other media reported on the 21st that a Nigerian military plane crashed while approaching the runway of Abuja airport, killing all six passengers on board.

A photographer on the scene said the pilot did his best to get the plane out of the residential area.
“The pilot is a hero. The plane was supposed to crash into a residential area, but we saw him crash in an empty bush.”
