January 2, local time, data released by the Independent National Electoral Commission of Niger showed that in the presidential and parliamentary elections held on December 27, 2020, Mohamed Bazoom, the candidate of the ruling Niger Party for Democracy and Socialism, and former President Mahaman Osman, won the top two votes, but With the vote of not more than half, the two will enter the second round.
