New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced on May 3rd that the city’s subway system would resume 24-hour operations on May 17th, a year after it was re-opened, and commercial venues, including restaurants, bars, museums and theaters, would resume fully on May 19th, in light of the city’s rising vaccination rate. But according to Broadway producers, Broadway productions won’t resume normal scheduling until after the fall.
