The Wilmington City Police Department issued a statement on social media saying that just after midnight on the 2nd, a shooting occurred at an indoor party in the city, killing three people and injuring four others. The injured have been taken to the hospital, and the investigation is in progress.
According to the U.S. media, citing Wilmington Police Department officers, as of the morning of the 3rd, the police had not arrested any suspects, and at least one suspect was at large.
At about 3 a.m. on the 3rd, a shooting occurred on a highway in Prince George’s County, Maryland. Two men were found dead in a car, one woman outside the car, and all three died from gunshot wounds, the county police said. The police are chasing the suspect and investigating the motives of the crime.
A few hours ago, there was also a shooting about 6 miles north of the scene of the shooting in Prince George County. When the police arrived at the scene at 7:00 p.m. on the 2nd, they found a woman who was shot dead in a car. Police did not indicate whether the two shootings in the county were related.
