by YCPress

29 April 2021 the Portuguese Council of Ministers adopted the lifting of the fourth phase of measures and moved the original start date of 3 May to 1 May.

The following measures are taken: restaurants, cafes and pastry shops are open until 22:30 (up to 6 indoors, 10 people on the terrace);

cultural events can be held until 20:30; open borders; wedding and baptism attendance is 50%; all shops and trade centres are open from Monday to Friday until 21:00, weekends and holidays up to 19:00); and the gym is open for groups.

The new measures will be implemented in 270 cities, with the remaining eight cities unable to enter the fourth downgrade phase because of substandard targets.
