At present, the number of coronavirus cases in Moscow still ranks first in Russia, with a total of 871,535 infections in the city, including 4,320 new confirmed cases in the last 24 hours.

“Please don’t delay vaccination,” Sobianen wrote in his blog.

He signed the order earlier saying “Moscow secondary education institutions will resume normal in-person teaching as of January 18, 2021.” The order provides for the restoration of preferential and free treatment for these students’ transportation trips.
Sobianin also said that Moscow will extend all epidemic prevention restrictions by one week except for students going to school.
