The report reported that about 99,000 children infected with the novel coronavirus were detected through testing last week alone.

In two weeks, the number of children infected with the novel coronavirus increased by 8%.

Currently, children in the United States account for 13 percent of all confirmed cases of COVID-19.

And according to information provided by 24 states and New York City, children currently account for about 1.2% to 2.9% of the total number of hospitalized people in the United States due to COVID-19.
