February 19th, local time, the Argentine Ministry of Health released the latest data, which saw 7,886 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the country, with a total of 2,054,681 confirmed cases; 143 new deaths, with a total of 51,000 deaths.

Several local media reported on the same day that Argentine Health Minister Garcia was suspected of using his position to arrange for some government workers and union personnel with better relations to give priority to vaccination against the novel coronavirus.

It is reported that Argentine President Fernandez has asked Garcia to resign as its Minister of Health.
