Ghana’s Daily Photo reported on February 9 that the Ghanaian Parliament issued a statement on the same day that the parliament would adjourn for three weeks from February 10 to March 2 due to the infection of the novel coronavirus among 17 members, 151 parliamentary staff and auxiliary personnel.

All MPs and staff will be re-tested for COVID-19 in two weeks to determine their health.

In the past month, the COVID-19 epidemic in Ghana has rebounded seriously, and a variant strain of COVID-19 found in South Africa has appeared in the country.

So far, Ghana has a total of 73,3003 confirmed cases of COVID-19, 482 deaths, 65,583 recovered and 6,938 existing cases.
