At about 16:10 local time on April 24, Mongolia’s State Administration of Emergency Situations issued a message on its official website, according to the weather forecast provided by the meteorological department, 25 Mongolia’s Zabhan and Gobi Altai provinces in the northern region of the snow.
Gobi Altai, Bayan honggel, the southern part of the former Hangzhou Ai three provinces and the central Gobi, south Gobi provinces of the western region will have strong winds, most of the wind speed will reach 18 meters to 20 meters per second, instantaneous wind speed will be 24 meters or more.
Mongolia’s State Administration of Emergency Situations calls on the general public to pay attention to changes in the weather, follow the advice of professional institutions, do a good job in natural disaster prevention, herders as far away as possible grazing, care for young children, long-distance transport truck drivers to check the condition of vehicles, do a good job of adequate fuel reserves and wind and heating and other related work before traveling.
In mid-and-late March this year, blizzards and sandstorms hit much of western, central and southern Mongolia twice, causing heavy casualties and property damage.
