According to public information, Mitsuya Yasuno is a Japanese painter, picture book writer and essay writer.

Born in 1926 in Tsumanocho, Shimane Prefecture, he graduated from the research department of Yamaguchi Normal School.

He debuted in 1968 with Incredible Paintings.
