In response to a query from Lianhe Zaobao on the 29th, the Ministry of Health of Singapore stated that there have been no deaths due to influenza vaccination in Singapore.
In view of the successive deaths after influenza vaccination in South Korea, the Ministry of Health has proposed to suspend the use of SKYCellflu Quadrivalent and VaxigripTetra on the 25th.
Some members of the public experienced adverse reactions after receiving these two flu vaccines, but all of them have recovered.
The Ministry of Health said that two people experienced sore throat, nausea or rash after being vaccinated with SKYCellflu Quadrivalent this year.
The Department of Health Sciences has received several reports since last year, alleging that someone had caused a rash and other reactions at the vaccination site after being vaccinated with Vaxigrip Tetra. All have recovered.
