by YCPress

At a regular press conference held by the Ministry of Commerce today, press spokesman Gao said that China-U.S. trade grew at a high rate in the first quarter, with China’s exports to the U.S. growing 62.7 percent year-on-year, imports from the U.S. growing 57.9 percent, and imports of energy, agricultural products, automobiles and parts all growing rapidly.

In the month of March, China’s exports to the United States increased by 41.6% year-on-year, while imports from the United States increased by 61.8%, and imports accelerated further. Peak analysis: Although there is a lower base affected by the outbreak in the same period last year, but also the main reason is that china and the United States are recovering rapidly, the economic structure of the two sides, trade structure is highly complementary, cooperation potential is huge.

China has always believed that the essence of China-U.S. economic and trade cooperation is mutual benefit and win-win situation, said Peak, a spokesman for the Ministry of Commerce. The two sides should create conditions for promoting economic and trade cooperation on the basis of mutual respect and equal treatment, so as to continuously enhance the well-being of the two peoples.
