April 20  Local migrant workers will hold large rallies for two days in a row during the second wave of outbreaks in the Indian state of Punjab, the Indian Express reported Thursday.

Reported that the state’s Amriz district on the 18th and 19th, respectively, held a rally to commemorate the anniversary of the death of a left-wing activist.

Amri is the worst affected area of Punjab, where two days of mass rallies have worried health officials. Images from the scene showed that few people wore masks at either rally. Meanwhile, the rally was met with opposition from some farmers’ activists on Twitter.
