It is reported that the social media included in the draft legislation of the Mexican Senate includes large social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram.

The report said that the Federal Telecommunications Regulatory Authority will establish a set of basic principles to protect “freedom of speech” on social media. Twitter and Facebook have not yet responded to this.
