Maya Sandu takes office as the new president of Moldova

December 24th local time, Moldova held a presidential inauguration ceremony, and Maya Sandu officially took office as the new president of the country.

On November 15 this year, Moldova held a second round of voting in the presidential election. Maya Sandu, chairman of the Action and Solidarity Party and former Prime Minister, won with 57.75% of the vote.
