Malaysia prohibits non-national crew members from landing ashore

by YCPress

Malaysia’s Minister of Transport issued a notice on the 15th, except for malaysian crew members, foreign crew members are prohibited from landing in any port in Malaysia.

As early as April 28, Malaysia announced a ban on any non-Malaysian crew members from landing in order to prevent the Coronavirus outbreak, the circular said.

At present, the policy is being extended in line with Malaysia’s implementation of the Action Control Order on Pandemic Prevention between 12 May and 7 June. However, the Malaysian crew was allowed to land after 14 days of isolation medical observation.
