China Trade Relief Information Network news on the 29th, on December 28, 2020, Malaysia’s Ministry of International Trade and Industry issued an announcement on polyethylene terephthalate with characteristic viscosity of 0.70 deL/g or above from or imported from China, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, the United States and Vietnam.
Polyethylene Terephthalate with Intrinsic Viscosityof 0.70 decilitres/gram or more made an anti-dumping preliminary ruling.
The preliminary determination was made that the dumping margin of the products involved in China, Indonesia, South Korea and Vietnam was 0%~57.
It was decided to impose provisional anti-dumping duties equivalent to the dumping margin in the form of a margin.
The measure will take effect from December 26, 2020 and be valid for 120 days. At the same time, it was decided to terminate the anti-dumping investigation of the products involved in the United States and Japan.
The Ministry of International Trade and Industry of Malaysia expects to make a final anti-dumping ruling on this case by April 23, 2021.
