Maduro: Looking forward to visiting Russia next year to meet Putin

December 8 According to report by the Russian Satellite News Agency on the 8th, Venezuelan President Maduro said during a meeting with the Russian delegation, who was an observer for the parliamentary elections, that he hoped to visit Moscow from April to June 2021 and meet with Russian President Putin. Earlier, the Venezuelan government said it hoped to obtain the first Russian “satellite-V” coronavirus vaccine in January 2021.

Maduro said at the meeting: “I hope to visit Moscow from April to June next year to meet our friend Putin.” In addition, he further said that members of Venezuela’s new parliament should also visit Russia as soon as possible.

Previously, Venezuelan Vice President Rodríguez said that Venezuela is expected to obtain the first batch of Russian “satellite-V” coronavirus vaccine in January 2021. In addition, Maduro has also shown interest in the coronavirus vaccine in China and Cuba.
