Madrid reports four cases of mutant novel coronavirus

According to the German News Agency Madrid, four cases of mutant COVID-19 have been found in Madrid, the capital of Spain.

Antonio Zapatero, a senior health official of the Madrid region, said on the 26th local time that there were three other suspected cases.

According to the report, three of the confirmed cases are the families of a man who flew from London to Madrid a few days ago, and the fourth case is a young man who also flew from London to Madrid on the 22nd.

It is reported that Madrid entered a lockdown on December 23 to prevent and control the epidemic.

The lockdown will last until January 6 next year.
