Macron: NICE terrorist attack Its same as attack whole France. Government will strengthen the Sentinel Counter-Terrorism Operations.

French President Macron said in Nice on the afternoon of the 29th local time that the attack

that morning was an attack on France.

Macron said that there is only one group in France, and that is the country.

All people should be more united and never give in to the split spirit.

French President Macron speaks in the media :

In the southern French city of Nice, a terrorist attack with a knife occurred that morning, killing three people. Macron arrived in Nice in the afternoon and communicated with the police and ambulance personnel

involved in the handling of the event before the church where the incident occurred to understand the situation at the time of the incident.

In a later speech to the media, Macron expressed his support and condolences to the

city of Nice and the people that suffered three terrorist attacks, and strongly condemned an “Islamic terrorist attack” that occurred that morning.

Macron also stated that more military forces will be used to perform security tasks. The current 3,000 troops under the “Sentinel Plan” of the anti-terrorist operation will be increased to 7,000. In addition, France will strengthen its vigilance against religious sites.

It is reported that Macron will host a national defense meeting on the morning
of the 30th local time to discuss countermeasures.

At noon on the 29th, French Prime Minister Castel announced that the anti-terrorism early warning program “Piracy Vigilance Plan” was raised to the highest level nationwide.

As this weekend coincides with a religious holiday, French Interior Minister Dalmanin

has also asked the police to immediately strengthen vigilance measures in places such as religious sites and cemeteries.

At 9 am local time on the 29th, a man attacked several people with

knives inside and outside the church of Notre Dame de Nice. A man and a woman were brutally killed inside the church, and another woman was killed outside the church.

Witnesses stated that the attackers shouted religious slogans when they rushed out of the church.

The police rushed to the scene after receiving a report from the church, wounded the attacker and arrested him. Since this person did not carry any identity documents, his identity is still being confirmed. The French National Anti-Terrorism Prosecutor’s Office has launched an investigation into this case.

After the attack, French political circles, the Muslim Faith Committee and other religious circles strongly condemned the terrorist incident. The Vatican, Germany, Britain, Saudi Arabia and other countries have successively condemned this terrorist attack by extremist forces.

In addition to Nice, attempted attacks also occurred in the cities of Avignon and Lyon in southeastern France that day. The Avignon police killed a man who chanted religious slogans and tried to attack the police with a knife at about 11:15 that day.

The Lyon police arrested an Afghan man holding a 30 cm knife in the morning. It is reported that the man was on the surveillance list of the French intelligence agency.
