On December 3rd local time, according to local media reports in South Africa, South Africa’s Minister of Agriculture, Agrarian Reform and Rural Development, Toko Didiza, announced that locust infestations had outbreaks in South Africa’s Free State, Northern Cape and Western Cape provinces, and control measures are being implemented to curb locusts.
