Lebanon launches COVID-19 vaccination

According to local media reports, on February 14th, local time, Prime Minister Diab of the Lebanese caretaker government went to Rafiq Hariri University Hospital to attend the launch ceremony of the coronavirus vaccination.

An ICU doctor and a prominent comedian, 93, were among the first to be vaccinated in Lebanon.

On the same day, medical staff in three hospitals in Beirut were vaccinated.

According to the Lebanese National Vaccine Commission plan, medical staff are the priority target of vaccination, followed by the elderly over 75 years old.
