Large-scale coronavirus testing in Hungary begins with social welfare institutions

COVID-19 will start from social welfare institutions nationwide from the 20th and expand to medical machines together next week. Structure and educational institutions, including 1,742 nurseries, 4,381 kindergartens and 8,694 primary and secondary schools.

This large-scale test is carried out with rapid antigen test agents, and the principle of voluntary participation is adopted. The Hungarian government will set up 16,691 testing sites nationwide, and within a week, 370,000 people are expected to participate in the testing.

The government’s move aims to grasp the overall situation of the epidemic more accurately and comprehensively through large-scale testing, and at the same time take timely epidemic prevention measures through screenin social welfare, medical and educational institutions to slow down the spread of the virus.
