According to a report by the Korean Central News Agency on January 1, North Korea’s supreme leader Kim Jong-un sent a personal letter to the people of the whole country as it welcomes the hopeful 2021.

Kim Jong-un wrote in his personal letter, “Congratulations on the New Year! On this occasion of ushering in the new year, I would like to extend my best wishes to the people of the whole country. I wish all families in the country happiness and wish the beloved people peace and happiness.

He also mentioned, “In the new year, I will work tirelessly to usher in a new era of flowering in the ideals and wishes of our people as soon as possible.”

Kim Jong-un also wrote, “Thank you all for your loyal trust and support in our party during these difficult times.” He concluded, “Here, I revisit my vow: love the great people wholeheartedly, with a heart and unswerving heart.”
