Kim Jong-un, general secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea and head of the State Council, made a field visit to the construction of a stairwell on the banks of the ordinary river in Pyongyang, KCNA reported Tuesday.
Kim Jong-un stressed that the construction of stairwell residential areas on the banks of ordinary rivers is an important project to build Pyongyang into a modern and civilized city, and to speed up construction in good quality and make it a model for the construction of urban residential areas.
Kim Jong-un said that under all conditions of shortage and difficulty, the ordinary riverbank has changed dramatically since more than 140 days ago because of the patriotic loyalty of the builders. Kim Jong-un expressed satisfaction with this and spoke highly of the labor of all builders.
