According to the Kenyan National newspaper on February 11th local time, according to the deployment plan of the country’s coronavirus vaccine released by the Ministry of Health of Kenya, the Kenyan government will vaccinate about 15.91 million people against the novel coronavirus vaccine for one third of its citizens within 18 months, which cost about 34 billion Kenya shillings

The deployment plan is divided into three phases, and the first phase will begin as early as next week.

The country’s 1.25 million frontline health workers are expected to be given priority after the first coronavirus vaccine arrives in Nairobi.

Inoculations will be given to practitioners in key and important industries in the third and fourth quarters of this year.

Phase II is planned to vacculate severely high-risk people, including those over 50 years old and between 18 and 50 years old, with one or more basic diseases, in fiscal year 2021-2022, with an estimated estimated 9.76 million people.

The third phase is planned for fiscal year 2022-2023, vaccinating practitioners over 18 years old and under 50 in hotels, tourism, services, etc., and is estimated to be about 4.9 million people.

Kenya’s Ministry of Health said that these three phases may overlap as the Kenyan government obtains more and more abundant coronavirus vaccines.
