Kenya has 1,344 new confirmed cases of coronavirus, and more than 2,000 health workers have been infected with COVID-19.

On November 10, local time, the Kenyan Ministry of Health issued the latest pandemic report stating that 7162 samples were tested in the past 24 hours, and 1344 new cases of Coronavirus pandemic were newly confirmed, with a positive rate of 18.8%; on the same day, there were 24 new deaths and 436 cases recovered, of which 297 people healed themselves through home isolation care. 

So far, Kenya has tested a total of 753959 samples, with a total of 64588 confirmed confirmed cases, 1154 deaths, 43095 recovered cases, and 20339 existing cases.

According to the Kenyan Ministry of Health, a total of 2,108 health workers have been diagnosed with Coronavirus and 22 of them have died.

In addition, Kenya’s virus detection capabilities have been greatly improved in the past few months. Before the outbreak of the Coronavirus, there were only 2 laboratories in Kenya that could detect coronavirus. It has now been expanded to 39 laboratories covering 12 counties.
