April 5th local time, the Jordanian court issued a statement on the progress of handling incidents related to Prince Hamza’s contact with foreign forces and endangering national security and stability.
According to the statement, King Abdullah II of Jordan entrusted his uncle Prince Hassan bin Talal to communicate with Prince Hamza, in which Prince Hamza confirmed that he would abide by the rules of the Hashemite family and signed a letter of commitment to inherit the mission inherited by his ancestors, support the leadership of the King of Jordan and abide by Jordan.
The constitution of the Hashemite Kingdom, and promises to put Jordan’s national interests first and support the efforts of the King of Jordan to protect his country and strive for the best interests for his people.
On April 3rd local time, the Jordanian armed forces denied rumors about Prince Hamza’s arrest, but said that Prince Hamza had been asked to stop activities related to Jordan’s national security and stability.
On April 4, Jordan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Overseas Chinese Safadi informed the outside world that the preliminary investigation showed that Prince Hamza and his people around him had direct links with foreign forces that claimed to be “external opposition” and were involved in related activities that endangering national security and stability.
According to Safadi, King Abdullah II of Jordan will deal with the incident within the family framework.
