According to Reuters, Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga said on December 22 local time that he hoped to meet with U.S. President-elect Biden as soon as possible to discuss the U.S.-Japan security treaty, the coronavirus epidemic and global warming.

According to the report, Yoshihide Suga also said that Japan is preparing to implement comprehensive coronavirus prevention measures for next year’s Summer Olympics.
