Jan Bratny will be new Czech health minister on the 29th

On October 27, local time, Czech Presidential Spokesperson Jiří Ovčáček announced on social media that President Zeman would appoint Jan Blatný as the new president at noon on the 29th. Minister of Health to replace the current Minister of Health Primula.

Bratney is 50 years old and currently serves as the deputy dean of the Brno University Hospital. He is an expert in pediatric hematology and has no previous political experience.

The current Minister of Health, Primula, was exposed by the Czech media last week that he violated the epidemic prevention policy by going to the restaurant to meet guests and did not wear a mask when leaving the restaurant or in the car. 

to the current Czech epidemic prevention regulations, restaurants are not allowed to provide dine-in; people must wear masks if they cannot maintain a social distance of two meters outside; people in the same vehicle must wear masks if they are not from a family. 

Primula succeeded Vojtekh, the former Minister of Health who had resigned suddenly on September 21 this year. He remained in office for only 39 days until October 29.
