The owner of the apartment has been controlled by the police on charges of hiding stolen goods.
The stolen painting was created in the 15th century and is based on a work of the same name by Leonardo da Vinci. It was originally collected in a church museum in Naples.
Leonardo da Vinci’s original work was sold for a record price of $450 million by Christie’s in 2017.
