Israeli Prime Minister will visit Bahrain after the two countries have established full diplomatic relations

Reuters November 24th, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu said on Tuesday that he would visit Bahrain “soon” at the invitation of Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

According to Xinhua News Agency, Bahrain and Israel signed a joint communiqué on October 18 to formally establish comprehensive diplomatic relations. According to the Bahrain News Agency, Bahrain’s Foreign Minister Zayeni and the head of the Israeli National Security Council, Meir Ben-Shabat signed a joint communiqué on the establishment of diplomatic, peaceful and friendly relations on the same day, marking the entry of a “new era of hope” in bilateral relations.

The report said that the two countries also signed memorandums of understanding in the fields of economy and trade, telecommunications, commerce, air services, mobility of people, banking and financial services. The relevant working group discussed potential cooperation between the two countries in the fields of health care, technology, tourism and agriculture, and planned bilateral relations.
