Israel: Foreigners who have been vaccinated or recovered from the novel coronavirus can return home to visit their families

by YCPress

April 6th, local time, the Israeli Population and Immigration Bureau announced that people who have been vaccinated against the novel coronavirus or recovered from COVID-19 abroad can enter Israel to visit their first-level relatives (parents, children, brothers and sisters) from now on.

Foreigners preparing to enter Israel must submit a formal application to the Israeli Population and Immigration Bureau and obtain approval before arrival.

A visitor must present a certificate of COVID-19 vaccination or a certificate of COVID-19 recovery, as well as a certificate of first-degree kinship with the visited person; in addition, foreign travelers must be tested for COVID-19 within 72 hours of arrival in Israel.

It is reported that since the outbreak of COVID-19 last year, non-Israeli citizens and residents have been banned from entering Israel.
