August 15, local time, Iraqi security services announced the arrest of seven members of the extremist group in the northern province of Nineveh. After interrogation, they admitted to working under the pseudonym extremist group. The Iraqi security services will invoke the relevant provisions of Iraq’s counter-terrorism law to refer them to the judicial process.
