On December 9th, local time, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Bairamov visited Iran and held talks with Iranian President Rouhani, Speaker Kalibaf and Foreign Minister Zarif.
Rouhani said that Iran will have better conditions for cooperation with other countries given the end of US President Trump’s term.
Iran is willing to participate in the reconstruction of the Karabakh region, and the two countries can further cooperate in industry, science, pharmaceutical and other fields. Bairamov said that if the obstacles caused by the U.S.
sanctions are lifted, many cooperation plans between Azerbaijan and Iran will be launched soon.
