Iranian media: Israeli drones did not participate in the assassination of Iranian nuclear scientists
December 2nd – After Arabic media revealed that Israeli drones were involved in the assassination of Iranian nuclear scientist Fakrizad, an Iranian insider revealed to the media that this was false news.
According to an Iranian Fars News Agency on the 1st, sources told Nur News Network, which is closely related to Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, that Israeli drones were not involved in the assassination of Fakrizad. Earlier, an Arabic-speaking newspaper in Kuwait claimed that during the Naqqaq conflict, two Israeli military drones crossed the Caspian Sea, landed safely and hid inside Iran in preparation for future assistance in the assassination of Iranian nuclear scientists.
On November 27th local time, Iran’s senior nuclear scientist Fakrizad was attacked near the capital Tehran and died after unsuccessful rescue. On the 28th, Iran’s Supreme Leader Khamenei tweeted a strong condemnation of the killing of Iranian nuclear scientist Muhsin Fakrizad, calling for “clear punishment” for those behind the killing of Fakrizad. Khamenei also promised retaliation and said that the relevant nuclear work carried out by Fakrizad would continue. On the 30th, the Iranian side held a funeral for Fakrizad, attended by Iranian Defense Minister and other senior officials.
