Iran’s Tasnim news agency reported that 18 local time, 200 members of the Iranian parliament on the Iran nuclear agreement Vienna talks issued a joint statement, asking the United States to verify the complete and irreversible lifting of all sanctions against Iran.

The statement said that the lifting of all sanctions and verification of the effectiveness of the lifting of sanctions is a condition for Iran to re-fulfil its obligations in the nuclear field, if the sanctions are not 100 percent lifted, it is tantamount to no sanctions lifted, the retention of some sanctions is tantamount to recognizing the legitimacy of these sanctions.

Parliament will closely monitor the process in accordance with the Anti-Sanctions Strategy Act.

The statement also said the Vienna meeting showed that the United States and Europe not only have no serious will to lift all sanctions, but also seek to impose more restrictions on Iran’s nuclear activities and prepare for subsequent regional and defense negotiations.

The statement called on the Iranian government to implement all provisions of the Anti-Sanctions Strategy Act, including the establishment of a metal uranium production plant, and the government must not undermine the technical achievements of Iran’s nuclear industry for its own political purposes.

Since the beginning of April this year, the Joint Commission on the Iranian Nuclear Issue has held several rounds of talks in Vienna on the resumption of U.S.-Iranian compliance with its obligations under the Iran nuclear agreement.

Iran insists that the United States lift all relevant sanctions against Iran at once, Iran after confirming the lifting of sanctions to take compliance measures.
