Tehran, December 8 Iranian Foreign Minister Zarif said on the 8th that Iran will not engage in dialogue with some neighboring countries on the regional situation under the intervention of Western countries.
Zarif posted on social media on the same day that Iran invited its neighbors to engage in dialogue without the intervention of the United States, Britain, France and Germany, because these Western countries are “the problem itself”.
Zarif said that Iran has always been ready to talk with its neighbors, and the Hormuz peace plan proposed by Iran last year is a concrete embodiment of this will.
In September 2019, Iranian President Rouhani invited countries to join the Iran-led Hormuz peace plan in his speech in the general debate of the United Nations General Assembly to maintain regional security.
