Bloomberg reported on January 10 that Indonesia’s National Transportation Safety Commission said that the crashed passenger plane disintegrated after the impact.
It is reported that Indonesia will expand the search scope tomorrow.
Reuters reporter Jamie Freed tweeted earlier today that the head of Indonesia’s National Transportation Security Council said that two black boxes of the Sanfoqi Airlines passenger plane crashed in the Java Sea had been found.
According to overseas network reports, a Boeing 737-500 of Indonesian Sanfoqi Airlines lost contact shortly after taking off from the capital Jakarta on the 9th, and was later found to crash in the waters off Jakarta.
Radar shows that the plane plummeted 10,000 feet a minute before losing contact. Indonesian Transport Minister Budi said that the crashed plane did not fly according to the established course after take-off.
