The Saudi Ministry of the Interior issued a notice on the evening of December 20th local time, calling it necessary to suspend all international passenger flights (except in special circumstances) in response to the new variants of the novel coronavirus and the epidemic caused by it in many countries.
The Saudi government will suspend the entry of people by land and sea ports from now on. Relevant measures will be implemented. The duration of the course is one week, and may be extended by one week as appropriate.
In addition, all people arriving in Saudi Arabia from December 8 to now from European countries and other countries with mutant virus epidemics are quarantined at home for 14 days from the date of entry, and must be tested for COVID-19 every 5 days during the quarantine period.
All the last three months have been quarantined from European countries and other countries with mutant virus epidemics, or in the above-mentioned countries. People who come to sand from home
crossing also have to be tested for COVID-19.
The notice said that the above measures do not include the transportation of goods, goods and materials from countries with no new variants of the virus and epidemics, and the Saudi government will further evaluate the above measures according to the development of the epidemic.
