On January 17, 2017, President Xi Jinping attended the opening ceremony of the 2017 Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum and delivered a keynote speech entitled “Share the Responsibility of the Times and Promote Global Development”. On January 18, Xi Jinping attended the high-level meeting of “Congotiate and Build a Community of Human Destiny” at the Palais des Nations in Geneva, Switzerland, and delivered a keynote speech entitled “Building a Community of Human Destiny Together”. With the responsibility of the leaders of a great power, he deeply, comprehensively and systematically expounded the concept of a community of human destiny.
Xi Jinping: It is the expectation of people of all countries and the responsibility of our generation of politicians to let the fire of peace pass on from generation to generation, let the momentum of development continue to flow, and let the light of civilization shine. China’s plan is to build a community of human destiny and achieve win-win sharing.
On March 23, 2013, Xi Jinping delivered an important speech entitled “Following the trend of the times and promoting world peaceful development” at the Moscow Institute of International Relations, putting forward the concept of a community of human destiny for the first time.
