December 4th the disaster caused by heavy rainfall in many parts of Malaysia continued.

According to the data of the Johor Health and Environment Commission, as of 8 a.m. on the 4th, 7,112 victims had been accommodated in 68 temporary settlements.

Ma Xinshe reported that Pahang Prefecture urgently evacuated a total of 7,603 people from 2,708 families, and part of the East Coast Expressway was forced to close due to the rise of the river. Several other state governors have also received disaster reports to varying degrees.

According to the Malaysian Meteorological Department, the monsoon season is usually from November to January of the following year, and continuous rainfall may occur in Pahang, Terengganu and Kelantan on the east coast.

In some areas, there may be disasters such as rising rivers and flash flooding.
