Greek Minister of Maritime and Island Policy enters intensive care unit for treatment
On the evening of November 28, local time, Giannis Plakiotakis, Minister of Maritime and Island Policy of Greece, confirmed through Facebook that he had entered the intensive care unit of a hospital in Athens for treatment.
He said that in order to return to work earlier, he accepted the doctor’s advice and decided to be admitted to the hospital.
It is also reported that Giannis Prachiotakis arrived at the hospital at 7:45 that night in a private car.
One doctor said that although the minister’s other indicators are not bad, due to the high fever in recent days, hospitalization is safer.
Giannis Prachiotakis was diagnosed with COVID-19 on November 23 local time, and then he began to quarantine at home as instructed by the doctor.
