Greece will vaccinate the general population against the novel coronavirus from January 20

January 5th, local time, Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mizotakis said during the epidemic prevention meeting that the general population will start to be vaccinated against the novel coronavirus on January 20, giving priority to people over 85 years old.

The online platform for e-appointment vaccination will be launched on January 11.

The Greek Prime Minister said that all citizens must use paperless electronic prescriptions in order to receive electronic notifications about the time and place of vaccination.

According to the introduction, Greece is vaccinated against the coronavirus against the medical and public service personnel at this stage, vaccinated about 5,000 people a day.

As of the evening of January 5, 16,365 people had been vaccinated.
