German Defense Minister said he planned to send warships to the “Indo-Pacific”

According to COM on the 16th, Germany Defense Minister Kramp-Karrenbauer held online talks with Nobuo Kishi, the Japanese defense minister on the 15th to convey that he was discussing the dispatch of German naval vessels to the Indo-Pacific region as soon as next year.

Nobuo Kishi welcomed this: “Strong support and close cooperation.” The Ministry of Defense revealed the above information after the talks.

The two exchanged views on the situation in North Korea, the East China Sea, South China Sea and other regions, and agreed to promote defense cooperation towards achieving a “free and open Indo-Pacific”.
