The Lianzao Daily News reported on December 12 that the number of coronavirus cases in Germany continues to rise.

According to Reuters, German Chancellor Merkel is expected to discuss tightening the blockade measures with state leaders on Sunday (December 13).

Germany has been in place for a six-week partial lockdown, with its bars and restaurants closed, but shops and schools open.

Some regions have taken stricter measures.

Merkel will discuss with state leaders whether to keep stores closed before the Christmas holiday and when the measure will be implemented.
