On March 13, Georgia received 43,200 doses of COVID-19 vaccine through the “COVID-19 Vaccine Implementation Plan” led by the World Health Organization, and officially launched the national COVID-19 vaccination work on March 15.
In order to contain the epidemic, the government plans to vaccinate 60% of the population against the novel coronavirus in 2021.
