According to a report by the Russian satellite news agency on December 30, Khaama Press reported that five members of a family were killed and two injured in the explosion of a gas tank in Nangarhar Province in eastern Afghanistan.
According to the governor’s spokesman Attauly Hogyani, the explosion occurred in a house on the night of December 29, and children were killed.
The agency pointed out that with the arrival of cold weather, Afghans use various methods to warm, and some residents use gas burners and operate them with little care.
